New arts in health short courses at UWE

In partnership with the University of the West of England (UWE), Willis Newson is devising and delivering two short course modules in 2011/12. The courses are aimed at artists and health and social care professionals working with or wishing to develop their skills in using the arts to work with people in health, community and social care settings. The modules offered are Participatory Arts Facilitation in Health and Social Care Settings and Evaluating Arts in Health Initiatives. They will be led by Norma Daykin (Professor of Arts in Health at UWE) and by Jane Willis (Willis Newson Director) with input from leading artists and practitioners in the field.
