Architect or artist?

7 June 2013

Sometimes in our work we see the lines between the roles of the architect and the artist being intentionally – and inspirationally - blurred. Jane Willis will be discussing this subject with Je Ahn of architects Studio Weave in an event organised by Architects for Health as part of the London Creativity and Wellbeing Week.

As well as showcasing some of Studio Weave’s wider practice (including the Lullaby Factory for Great Ormond Street) the two will be presenting the work we are developing together for the Bristol Royal Infirmary and Jane will show designs from the competition we are currently managing for the re-development of the façade of the BRI’s Queen’s Building.

The evening event takes place on 18 June 2013 and more information can be found here. It is sponsored by ARUP and will also include a tour of the UCH Macmillan Cancer Centre.  Other speakers include Guy Noble, Nikki Crane and Sue Ridge. We look forward to seeing you there.
