Willis Newson devised and project managed the Leading the Way arts programme
to enhance the new PFI development at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital which
opened in 2005. The results – 13 integrated commissions and five artists’ residencies
– range from contemplative and calming works in treatment rooms to large
scale works supporting wayfinding and orientation.
