Wandsworth Acute Unit
Willis Newson has been commissioned by the South West London and St Georges Mental Health NHS Trust to develop and implement a strategy for the commissioning of high quality art, craft and design for the new Wandsworth Acute Unit, part of the first phase of hospital building work in the development of the visionary Springfield Garden Village. Working with the Trust and MAAP architects the commissions of furniture, tableware and glass will aim to demonstrate how craft and design can address some of specific needs of this new community of service users and staff.
