Megan Attwood

Evaluation & Research Lead

Our newest recruit, Megan is an academic researcher, an educator and a former ballet teacher – yet another multi-skilled creative professional amongst us. She joined us in September 2010 as a result of our Knowledge Transfer Partnership with the University of the West of England and is helping us to strengthen and develop our specialist arts and health evaluation service.

Megan has a Masters degree in the Psychology of Education and research experience of both educational and health-related projects, specialising in the use of cognitive behavioural therapy with adolescents and young people. She has lectured at the University of Bristol and assisted on research projects at the University of Bath’s School of Health. She has also used her skills and knowledge to great effect in the classroom as a teaching assistant. Before emigrating to the UK from South Africa in 2008, she was a part-time ballet teacher.
