Refinery Gates & Railings

Willis Newson worked with Ashlar Group and Woodward AP architects to integrate a set of sculptural gates and railings into the Refinery residential development in Old Market, Bristol.  Designed and produced by Bristol artists John Packer and Kevin Hughes, the railings and gates became a part of the historic façade of Jacob Street in June 2008.  The railings and gates add impact to the development and create a visual link between the historic and contemporary parts of the site, as well as maintaining security.
